The rapper famed for songs like, “E.I.,” “Hot in Here,” and others was
stopped on his bus at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca,
Texas.authorities found 36 small baggies of heroin (totaling .64 ounces) and
over 10 pounds of marijuana inside a large green duffel bag.St. Louis bred rapper Nelly, founder of the St. Lunatics, was detained
for several hours for alleged possession of heroin, marijuana, and .45
caliber pistol in Texas. Pertaining to a source, a man named Brian Keith Jones admitted to owning the drugs
and gun, and was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
Nelly and his entourage on the bus were later released.
